Scott writes Information Manager Journal and Service Provider Journal. For sixteen years, he worked for InfoWorld as Washington D.C. bureau chief, editor-at-large, and Test Center project leader. From 1997 to 1998, he was a senior features editor at Byte Magazine. In 1999, he became editorial director of Stardust.com, and co-hosted one of the first tech audio shows downloadable in MP3 format, Stardust TalkRadio. He was a columnist at Boardwatch Magazine, and organized conference sessions for ISPCON. He's working on a series of IT demystification books. Scott's other bylines over the years have included PC World, NurseWeek, and the Village Voice.
