Enterprise IT vendors make long-term commitments to their customers. Whatever their desires may be to embrace new technologies, they must adapt such desires to the realities of supporting past and present deployments. With this in mind, this track will tackle the tough issue of how traditional IT vendors can effectively embrace non-traditional open source, with an eye toward ripe markets and technologies for extending open source with IP.
