Paul Calento, moderator, is Vice President of Marketing for InfoWorld Media Group. He oversees marketing strategies and initiatives. He is responsible for championing and articulating the InfoWorld brand's value to the reader, advertiser, and technology communities. In the past year, he has championed the use of podcasting and video for business-to-business communications programs to the IT community. Paul brings to InfoWorld and IDG experience with technology publishing in marketing, management, and sales in publisher, associate publisher, and director roles. At CMP Media, successes include developing marketing strategies for the launch of Intelligent Enterprise and as publisher of Software Development. A publishing innovator, Calento's appeared on the cover of Folio: Magazine and named to its list recognizing the "next generation of publishing leaders." Calento graduated Cum Laude from Boston University with a BS in Business Administration-Marketing concentration.
Bill Johnston is the Online Experience Manager for Autodesk, and has been with the company since 2001. His responsibilities include Autodesk.com, the Autodesk Blog program , and Autodesk's growing portfolio of online communities, including AREA. Prior to Autodesk, Bill was responsible for creating and evolving the user experience of TechRepublic, a community site for top-tier IT professionals.
Bryan Quinn is the founder and president of Spy Media, a user generated media website that bridges the gap between B and C by providing interactive tools like Spy Bounties and Spy Stream. Their tools are providing users with innovative solutions that are on the cutting edge of web 2.0. Look for Spy Media to build on their existing technologies over the coming months.
Robert Rebholz is the Group Product Manager for the Microsoft.com Communities Team. He has been with Microsoft 14-years, has a wealth of experience in managing change, and a penchant for “intrapreneurial” projects. His passion around the personal publishing revolution and the impact it is having upon all of our cultural forms has led to his current role. His group is responsible for defining the next generation community experience for Microsoft technology professionals.
