Perspective

Topics: Open Source
Doc's perspective was one of the highlights of Supernova this year. Always entertaining, he presented a number of case studies (the inside stories) in open source and do-it-yourself IT that you won't get from the traditional vendor-centric press (who provide the outside stories). After all, this is about what customers can do for themselves. "Linux was invented by no vendor at all." WiFi, for example, has been the catalyst for a huge number of open-source efforts. Doc has posted his slides from this presentation.

This keynote and other presentations were recorded at Supernova 2004.
