Prior to joining Oblix, Gordon Eubanks spent 15 years as president and CEO of Symantec Corporation. Previously, Eubanks founded C&E software (which Symantec acquired in 1984) and served as a senior executive at Digital Research, Inc., where he was responsible for commercial system software development and marketing.

Eubanks holds Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Oklahoma State University and a Master of Science degree in computer science from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, Calif. Eubanks also served as a commissioned officer in the United States Navy's Nuclear Submarine Force. He holds positions on the boards of Oblix, Applied Minds, and M7, and he is an active member of industry trade associations, including a past tenure as chairman and president of the Software Publishers Association.
