Wiley Hodges is the Senior Product Line Manager for Developer Products at Apple Computer Inc., where he is responsible for marketing for Xcode, Java, WebObjects, AppleScript, and other technologies that affect developers on Mac OS X. His first Mac programming experience was writing HyperCard XCMDs in Pascal in the 1980s, which put him on a path that led eventually to UNIX and object-oriented programming. Throughout his professional career he has stayed close to development as well as open source technologies, working at technology companies including NeXT Software, Sendmail, Inc., and Apple Computer, Inc.
