Clayton Miller discusses his project 10/GUI, in which he is attempting to develop a new paradigm for the graphical user interface. He hopes to bridge the gap from the old to the new by rethinking the desktop to leverage technology in an intuitive and powerful way.
R. Clayton Miller is a graphic and interaction
designer living in the Chicago suburbs. His professional experience has
given him experience in a number of niche industries, but his devotion
to usability and functional elegance has taken him to challenge more
fundamental issues of human-computer interaction, resulting in the
side-project 10/GUI.
He writes very occasionally at No
Substance. All Eloquence, tweets
somewhat more frequently, and also attempts to create music with Presteign.
