12 minutes, 5.5mb, recorded 2009-11-17

Chris Brogan, President of New Marketing Labs, author, and blogger extraordinaire, offers his (well-earned) two cents on the importance of social media and technology to any business's marketing strategy. Brogan works with companies, as well as individuals, to help directly connect them to their customers, clients, competitors and the business world at large through the utilization of the internet.

This brief but informative talk at the most recent Web 2.0 Expo in New York, will give you a strong feeling of excitement mixed with wonder, as you realize just how many oppurtunities networking sites like Twitter really offer, and how much the business world is changing in response to them.

Brogan also shares his insight on how to best take advantage of the many tools at a business owner's or individual's disposal, Twitter's different search features for example. Brogan uses humour to get his point across and it will hit you like a ton of bricks. The landscape of the marketplace is constantly changing, and the internet is becoming a bigger and bigger part of today's consumer society.
