This presentation provides the audience with a high level overview the key patterns in software and product design, user interaction, implementation, and remixing of technology as these subjects might apply to both emerging technology and the business of technology. Some of the items discussed are the notion of the "perpetual beta," the concept that users add value with active personal contribution(s) to shared data constructing a "network effect" by default, and applications as mediators of social networks.
