Jeremy Hogan

Director of Business Development, Lulu.com

Jeremy Hogan

Jeremy Hogan of Lulu.com is the leader of their LuluTV initiative, where creators can actually make money with their online video productions. But Lulu.com is much more then this, they are a technology company that makes it easier for people to monetize their creations - books, audio or video.

What is unique about Lulu.com is the way they use the social media tools and applications that are getting so much buzz (or hype) these days and using them to not only build a community of creators but grow their company and create community.

Most companies are still exploring so-called Web 2.0 functions and are afraid to even talk about what they are up to and what they've learned. Not Lulu.com. They are upfront and in-your-face, so to speak, about how they are on the next wave of the Internet.

Jeremy discusses the insights that the Lulu.com's management team has gained by their deployments and their efforts to build community. He is an enthusiastic, witty spokesperson for this adventure.

Jeremy Hogan is Director of Business Development for Lulu.com. He is also their manager of internet video offerings. His latest project is their ad sharing video site called Lulu.TV. He has been employed in technology for 10 years, working for such companies as EDS, RedHat and Xerox. He has also been active in web development and community relationships.
