Joan Peckham is a professor in the Department of Computer Science and Statistics at the University of Rhode Island and has received numerous awards for her research in real time systems. She is a past associate editor of the Journal of Database Management and has authored many articles related to her work.
Joan is on leave from URI to serve as a program director in the Computer and Information Science and Engineering Directorate at the National Science Foundation.
