They discuss how podcasting creates a level of intimacy with your target audience that isn't available through other media, and why it is a must-have tool in your marketing toolbox.

As Mr Colligan puts it, "This new medium, at least for a while, connects with your audience in way that traditional internet media doesn't. Let's face it, if your choice is between a 30 minute video podcast, or a 30 page sales letter, then the video presentation is going to connect a lot better."

In addition to the effectiveness of marketing through audio and video podcasts, Paul and Michael discuss new methods for distributing your content using Apple's recently announced iTV product as well as podcast streaming through TiVO. As the barriers to consumption quickly crumble, they anticipate an even greater market penetration, resulting in greater value for your podcast production dollar.
